For over 15 years, legendary local boot camp instructor, “GI Joe” Charles, has organized the bi-annual Pier-to-Pier run. As he recovers and rehabilitates from a stroke earlier last year, he has tasked the Village Runner along with owner, Mike Ward, to help promote his upcoming event in April at the Hermosa Beach Pier!
