Sustainable Seafood Expo

Cabrillo Marine Aquarium’s 4th Annual Sustainable Seafood Expo is an event designed to help consumers choose the right fish for their dish—one that’s good for their bodies and for the environment. Choosing the right fish can have a positive impact on the marine environment and Cabrillo Marine Aquarium leads the way in educating local consumers, chefs and restaurateurs on this critical topic.
The Expo provides great opportunities to sample new seafood options while learning how to make the best selections when dining out or purchasing seafood. Experts will be on hand to explain fisheries, habitats, species, management, and a host of other factors that affect each species. The goal is to help sustain wild, diverse and healthy ocean ecosystems that will exist long into the future.
Actor Adrian Grenier of “Entourage” fame will make a special appearance. As co-founder of the Lonely Whale Foundation, Grenier will share his efforts to inspire empathy towards marine species and develop lifelong advocates for ocean health.
This year everyone has a chance to explore the Sustainable Seafood Expo for free!
Check out all the activities and information at no cost, then try some tastes if you like for as little as $10. Or purchase an all-inclusive ticket that includes a taste from each sampling booth for $60 – with 21 sampling booths, that’s a value of $105!
