More than 3,000 people are expected to congregate downtown as Jeremy Buck & The Bang returns to entertain and collect toys for the Beach Cities Toy Drive. Last year more than $2,500 was raised for the Toy Drive, which serves five South Bay charities annually that distribute gifts to families in need.
Throughout the years, the tree celebration has included dance companies, choirs, a carousel, cookies and hot chocolate served by Hermosa‘s own service organizations all in anticipation of the arrival of very special guests – Santa and Mrs. Claus. The Clauses are scheduled to return this year escorted by the Hermosa Beach Fire Department and will be available for photos. Note that the Plaza Tree Lighting takes place on a new day at a new time to accommodate Hermosa’s families, and we hope to see you all enjoy the lights against the sunset throughout the holiday season.
