Following the success of last year’s LGBT+ flag raising ceremony in San Pedro’s Welcome Park, Councilman Joe Buscaino in partnership with the Bridge Cities Alliance, led by Aiden Garcia-Sheffield and Mona Sutton, proudly announce the first ever Pride at the Port event to kick off Pride month in 2019. “San Pedro is a community that has always welcomed people from all cultures, from its original immigrants to cruise ship passengers and visitors from all over the world. It’s rich tapestry of diversity and inclusiveness combined with its location on the waterfront make it the perfect location to hold a festival to showcase inclusivity and acceptance of all,” said Councilmember Joe Buscaino, and BCA President, Aiden Garcia-Sheffield in a joint statement.
