Celebrating and recreating one of the most controversial events in Los Angeles History, a night when thousands of people were convinced the city was under attack from the air in 1942 during World War II. Lots of living historians in character, classic cars, and military equipment on hand. Free parking.
“The Great Los Angeles Air Raid of 1942” is a fundraiser event for the Fort MacArthur Museum that takes you back in time to a thrillingly faithful recreation of a 1942 big band dance party, interrupted by the reality of war — THE AIR RAID!
