Rancho Palos Verdes Beach

Rancho Palos Verdes Beach is located below Trump National Golf Club and the Ocean Trails Reserve in Rancho Palos Verdes. Hiking trails in the Ocean Trails Reserve follow the bluff along the golf course and provide access to the beach below. Much of the beach is rocky, but there is a small area of wide sandy beach below Founders Park. At this location there are two trails called the Sunrise and Sunset Trails that provide access down the steep bluff. Walking north on the beach from there leads to a private beach at Portuguese Bend Beach Club. Tide pools to the south can be viewed when the tide is low. Lifeguards are on duty during the summer.

The free public parking areas are at the end of La Rotonda Drive and at the Trump golf clubhouse on Ocean Trails Drive. Both lots are inside the Trump National Golf Club entrances and both have public restrooms available. Follow walking paths from the parking lots to the bluff then look for trails to the beach. No dogs are allowed on the beach.
