Destination: Art
A converted warehouse/office building near The Depot restaurant in Torrance in now home to a new vibrant artists’ mecca. Destination Art is an art gallery featuring 12 local artists with open studio spaces for another 12 artists. It offers ongoing classes and workshops for art students of all levels. The public is invited to visit Thursdays through Sundays.
The Goal of Destination Art is to provide a space for South Bay residents and visitors to go for viewing and collecting art with a local flavor and by local Fine Artists. It’s a place for South Bay Artists to create artwork in a collaborative environment, hold lectures, workshops, and demonstrations, and interface with the public in an ongoing conversation about art.
