The South Bay Film Society
The South Bay Film Society was founded in June 2012 by Randy Berler aiming to bring the best of new foreign and independent films to the big screen in the South Bay. Discussions are held after screenings for those interested. Through these film events, the South Bay Film Society fosters connections and friendships between people in the South Bay interested in film and the arts.
They typically show 2 films a month, often selling out two theaters for each film. They look for films that are both entertaining and that challenge the viewer to see the world in new ways. To get information on upcoming events, sign up for their announcement list. Films are usually screened at the AMC Rolling Hills Theater and tickets can be purchased for $9.00.
